The Lit and Phil has a long history of staging concerts working alongside promoters including Jazz North East, individuals and bands. This recital series has been established by pianist Paul Edis with the support of the Lit and Phil to promote the best of North East jazz talent in a recital setting complete with programme notes. Depending of the success of this series, Paul may extend to include touring soloists and ensembles, but at the moment is primarily on local talent.
